This boy was big and I did not care for his presence. At least I don’t live in Ohio, where the Red-footed Robber Fly reaches 3-4" long, and scattered reports that they will prey on hummingbirds...
FYI: robber flies typically catch, pierce, and liquify the insides of their prey... They’re basically flying spiders.
